The Venue

The AWC 2016 venue is located in the Cotter Precinct surrounded by a peaceful bush setting 5 minutes from the edge of urban Canberra and roughly half hour from the city.

This is an area known for its natural beauty and offers panoramic views of the nearby Brindabella Mountains and it borders the Murrumbidgee River.

While booking out the entire site, the AWC 2016 event will be utilising the Shakespeare Centre, a accommodation and conference facility, with 8 cabins ranging from 10 to 12 beds. All cabins have bathrooms, 3 have kitchens, and 2 are designed to accommodate people with impaired mobility.

This centre also contains a conference hall with attached kitchen highly suitable for the AWC 2016 Witchen Kitchen team!
